TITs’s News(1st Edition Seminar)
Technical and Innovative Textile solution- (TITs)- has conducted First time, Seminar on Technical
Textiles focusing on Medical textiles on 28th Nov’2017 at Gokulam park hotel, Coimbatore. The
Seminar got good response and was well attended by 35 participants. There were 6 speakers, they
spoke about demand and scope, Absorbent surgical cotton, innovation in various technical textiles,
Regulation and approval procedures, subsidies and cutting technologies. All the entrepreneurs
regularly monitored by TITs team for next step and further procedures. Our aim is to generate good
entrepreneurs with skill to regulate long term relation with entrepreneurs in India.
Technical and Innovative Textile Solution Center
TITSC News(2nd Edition Seminar)-Radisson blue-Coimbatore
Technical and Innovative Textile solution center- (TITSC)- had conducted second Seminar on
Business Opportunities in Technical Textiles on 9th Dec’2017 at Radisson blue hotel, Coimbatore.
The Seminar went well and was an interactive session with participants , the participants were
in and from varies industries like woven, nonwoven, sanitary pad making, disposable garment
manufacturing, knitting , Processing, coating and lamination, machinery manufacturer ,traders,
marketers etc.. There was Big debate on Nonwoven disposable and Woven reusable. Thirty six
participants were attended the programme and there were 5 speakers, they spoke about Nonwoven,
woven, Scope & demand of Technical textiles, Absorbent surgical cotton, innovation in various
technical textiles, Regulation and approval procedures and subsidies. All the entrepreneurs regularly
guided by TITSC team for next step and further procedures.

Training programme on Agro-tech by
TITSC,Coimbatore.
TITSC, Coimbatore conducted one day industrial training
programme for college students on 22 nd December 2017.
TITSC (Technical & innovative textile solution Centre)has taken the
initiative to spread awareness and knowledge over Agro-textiles. Mr.
S.Thiruppathi of TITSC organised -one day industrial training
programme for college students in an Agro-tech industry. He
explained about the growing opportunities in this field and the
students were also introduced to various machines.The industrial
programme dealt with awareness about the contribution and
importance of Agro-tech. The students were introduced to various
Agro-tech products like fish nets , fish (long/short)lines, ropes, bird
nets, crop-protection nets and various other agricultural products.
